Uživatelé oceňují obrovskou výdrž a variabilní znovuzahrání, jen tak neomrzí. Chválí komplexní hratelnost, přehledný tutoriál a propracovaný designer lodí a stanic.
Učení je náročné a v pozdější fázi hrozí zahlcení mikromanagementem. Chybí oficiální čeština, diplomacie působí nedotaženě a velké bitvy se sekají.
Pro náročné hráče vesmírných strategií, kteří chtějí dlouhé, promyšlené kampaně. Hodí se těm, kdo ocení personalizaci lodí a postupné objevování mechanik.

Vynikající vesmírná strategie, která je opravdu na dlouhou dobu. V pozdější fázi hry už se člověk pomalu ztrácí v tom, co vše musí obsluhovat. V dřívější verzi hry se mi líbila rozmanitost FTL, který je teď vztažen pouze na 1 možný.....také se mi líbily rozšiřující se hranice jen na základě Vlivu....to už teď také není. Hru ale doporučuji, je to klenot mezi vesmírnými strategiemi...

- Je to neuvěřitelně komplexní hra ale jako první z paradox her má pořádný tutoriál a je také velmi chytlavá na to jak je to složitý.Velké plus je za designer lodí a stanic který umožňuje velkou možnost personalizace lodí a stanic.
- Moc toho nebude ale chybý civilní obchod (ve stylu EU 4) také při velkých bitvách se hra zasekává tedy 10k a výš.
Celkově je to další z mnoha kvalitních her (jako EU 4, CK 2, Victoria 2 HOI3(4)) apodle mně se vyplatí si to koupit ale jen když se rozhodnete se opravdu chcete protože je to velmi specifická hra.
